If your cabinets are sound and you like the layout, refinishing gives you a way to change their appearance while keeping what already works. We assess the existing surface before recommending a painted finish or a stain and clear system.
Stained wood finishes
For suitable wood surfaces, we develop a sample to establish the direction. Existing color, grain and previous coatings all influence the result.
A clearly defined scope
Your proposal identifies the frames, panels, exposed ends and other surfaces included. Cabinet interiors, repairs and hardware changes are discussed before work begins.

Prepare and finish
Doors and drawer fronts are removed for off-site finishing. We protect the kitchen, prepare the fixed frames, and use a primer and coating system selected for the surface.
Reinstall and review
We reinstall and adjust the doors and drawer fronts, check the details, clean up and explain how to care for the new finish as it cures.

What shapes
your estimate?
Door and drawer counts, cabinet size, existing condition, repairs and the finish you choose shape the estimate. Large panels, glass-front interiors and detailed trim can change the scope. Send overall kitchen photos and close-ups of wear so we can start with useful information.

How long does cabinet refinishing take?
Many projects take one to two weeks. Size, repairs and the coating system affect the schedule. We explain the shop work, on-site work and reinstallation sequence before starting.
Will I need to empty the cabinets?
Usually, items can remain inside cabinets whose openings are protected while we finish the exterior. Interiors included in the scope will need to be cleared. We will explain what to remove and when.
Can every cabinet be refinished?
Suitability depends on the construction, condition and existing coating. We inspect those details first and explain any repairs or limitations before recommending a finish.
What coatings do you use?
We use professional European waterborne cabinet coatings, with the primer and topcoat selected for the surface. Painted finishes and stain-and-clear work require different preparation and coating systems.
